Lt Kol Liew Swee Ming (Retired) has a Master of Science Degree (MSc) inEngineering Business Management from University of Warwick United Kingdom, withan electronic engineering background. He has served the Malaysian Armed Forces(MAF) for more than 36 years. During his service with the MAF. he was involved inmanaging several military projects, among the notable one is Coastal SecuritSurveillance Radar system power with solar energy along the Eastern Coast andislands off Sabah and Water filtration system for villages living around out skirt ofBamyan, Afghanistan.

After his retirement, he works as Project Manager for Petronas Radar SurveillanceSecurity System (RS3) Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) before venturing intosolar energy. He has successfully delivered two Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB)tenders of 9 solar stations under Sarawak Alternative Rural Electrification Scheme(SARES) and lead the Solar System design team for Projek BELB Solar Hybrid StandAlone System for Kementerian Kemajuan Luar Bandar dan Wilayah (KKLW). Otherexperiences include design, Energy Studies and LCOE analysis on 100MW and150MW Large Scale Solar as well as 7MWp system for 1Utama Shopping Complex in 2022.
